Production Support Analyst / Application Support Specialist (Capital Markets)

Mandatory Skills

- Solid hands-on experience in Linux/Unix Administration
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database querying
- Experience with Autosys Job Scheduling
- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request Management)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience in Application/Production Support

Domain Knowledge

- Good understanding of Capital Markets domain
- Experience with any of the following applications is highly preferred:

- Wall Street

- Murex

- Calypso

Preferred Business Knowledge Knowledge of the following financial products/business areas will be an added advantage:

- Securities Lending
- Derivatives, Prime
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Commodities
- Fixed Income Products

Key Responsibilities





- Provide L2/L3 application production support for Capital Markets applications.
- Monitor applications, batch jobs, and interfaces using Autosys and other monitoring tools.
- Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution within SLA timelines.
- Execute SQL queries for data analysis and issue investigation.
- Work closely with business users, development teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Follow ITIL-based support processes and governance standards.

Experience

- 5+ years of Application/Production Support experience.
- Prior exposure to Capital Markets trading, settlement, or risk management applications preferred.

This profile is ideal for candidates with a strong production support background in Capital Markets environments and expertise in Linux, SQL, and Autosys.
