Qualification

B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication/ Instrumentation/ Automotive Electronics

Primary Skill

BMS Hardware Development or Automotive Embedded Hardware

Relevant Experience

5-7 years in automotive or power electronics hardware. EV battery/BMS experience strongly preferred

The selected consultant will be required to support for:

- BMS Hardware Design

Design and develop Cell Monitoring Units (CMU), Master BMS Controller boards, HV sensing and protection circuits, Temperature sensing interfaces, Current sensing systems, Balancing circuitry, Isolation monitoring circuits, Power supply architecture
- Analog & Mixed Signal Design

Develop automotive-grade analog front-end circuitry including Precision ADC interfaces, Differential sensing, Isolation amplifiers, Current shunt measurement, Signal conditioning, Noise filtering, Reference voltage circuits
- High Voltage & Safety Design

Design HV-secure electronics for EV battery environments- Isolation barriers, Protection against transients, protection circuitry, HV contactor driving
- PCB Design & Layout Support

Work with PCB designers/layout engineers to ensure Automotive EMC compliance, Thermal robustness, Noise immunity, Isolation spacing,



Controlled grounding, High-current routing optimization, Component Selection & Schematic Design - Select automotive-qualified components Battery monitor ICs, Isolated CAN transceivers, Gate drivers, Current sensors, Protection ICs, Power supplies, Connectors and HV components.
- Board Bring-Up & Debugging

Perform Prototype bring-up, Circuit validation, Oscilloscope-based debugging, Communication, validation, Signal integrity analysis, Power integrity checks, Thermal measurements
- EMC/EMI & Compliance Support

Support pre-compliance and compliance testing Conducted emissions, Radiated emissions, ESD, EFT, Surge immunity
- Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Embedded firmware team, Systems Engineering, Functional safety team, Mechanical packaging, Validation/HIL engineers, Manufacturing partners Preferred Skills & Knowledge

Must have

Knowledge of Tools & Software

Experience with: Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, OrCAD , LTspice / PSpice

Preferred to have

- Experience with automotive-grade electronics and battery monitor ICs.
- Knowledge of functional safety hardware concepts
- Battery pack integration exposure
