Role Summary:
This role focuses on developing donor partnerships, organizing successful blood donation camps, and ensuring a consistent supply of voluntary blood donors.
Role & responsibilities:
- Identify and connect with potential donor organizations such as companies, colleges, educational institutions, associations, and offices.
- Meet HR, administration, and management teams to promote the blood bank's mission and encourage participation in blood donation camps.
- Coordinate and schedule blood donation camps, including finalizing dates, timings, and venues.
- Maintain contact information of organizers and key representatives for smooth communication and coordination.
- Conduct donor awareness and motivation sessions when required.
- Visit and evaluate camp venues to ensure suitability in terms of space, cleanliness, ventilation, lighting,
and donor comfort.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding camp schedules, logistics, and any special requirements.
- Share camp details with relevant stakeholders and departments in a timely manner.
- Ensure all arrangements for blood donation camps are completed efficiently.
- Follow up with camp organizers, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with donor organizations to support future donation drives.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Any Graduate.
- 2-5 yrs experience in blood donation camp or donor search
- Preferably from an NGO/ Social Work/ Non-profit organization
- Fluent in English and Kannada (preferably)
- Comfortable to travel locally - more than 60- 70% of work constitutes travel.
