Billing Engineer – Freelance / Project Basis

Reecan Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Billing Engineer to handle project billing and quantity measurement activities on a freelance/project basis for our interior and construction sites.

The candidate will be responsible for accurate client billing, subcontractor billing, quantity measurements, rate analysis, and billing documentation as per approved drawings, BOQs, and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare client and subcontractor bills based on actual site measurements.
- Take and verify site measurements for completed work.
- Prepare RA Bills (Running Account Bills) and final bills.
- Calculate executed quantities as per drawings and actual site work.
- Check executed quantities against approved BOQ and drawings.
- Verify subcontractor/vendor bills and supporting documents.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets (MS) and maintain proper billing records.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Project Manager, QS, and Accounts Team.
- Identify variations, additional works, and deviations from the approved BOQ.




- Prepare variation statements and extra-item bills wherever required.
- Assist in rate analysis when required.
- Ensure billing documentation is accurate and submitted within project timelines.

Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in billing, quantity surveying, interior fit-out, civil or construction projects.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quantity calculations.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read construction/interior drawings.
- Understanding of BOQ, RA Bills, measurements, rate analysis, and variation claims.
- Ability to work independently and visit project sites as required.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in commercial interiors, turnkey projects, civil works, fit-out projects, or construction billing will be preferred.

Engagement

This is a freelance/project-based opportunity. Candidates may be engaged for individual projects or specific billing assignments depending on project requirements.
