About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled BI Analyst / Data Analyst to join our Geo Data Insights & Analytics (GDIA) team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and business acumen, with hands-on experience working with complex datasets, developing dashboards, creating data pipelines, and generating actionable business insights.

Very solid Advanced SQL skills are mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business insights.
- Translate business questions and requirements into measurable metrics, KPIs, and analytical solutions.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Work with large datasets and data pipelines to support business and product decisions.
- Develop and maintain data marts, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Create meaningful visualizations and communicate insights effectively to business and technical stakeholders.
- Define KPIs, success metrics, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide structured, data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, Program Managers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional teams.
- Translate product/business requirements into structured technical data requirements and assess feasibility.
- Debug and optimize existing SQL scripts, code,



and data processes to improve performance and reduce maintenance efforts.
- Explore new datasets and data structures independently, even when documentation is limited.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to team leaders, program owners, and stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant Analytics / BI / Data Analytics experience.
- Very strong Advanced SQL skills – mandatory.
- Strong experience with SQL-based data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience with BigQuery is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, visualizations, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Experience working with data marts, data warehouses, and data pipelines.
- Strong business problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to convert business/product requirements into technical data requirements.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to debug and optimize SQL/code and improve data infrastructure.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
