About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of professional experience in web development and demonstrate a solid understanding of core technologies such as PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS. Exposure to Python/Django and REST API integration is also desirable.

This role involves working closely with senior developers to build, maintain, and enhance web applications and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for debugging issues, implementing new features, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility, all while adhering to coding standards and best practices. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1+ years of professional experience in web development. A strong understanding of Core PHP, MySQL, and SQL query optimization is essential. Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS is required, along with a basic to intermediate knowledge of REST APIs.

Familiarity with Python/Django and experience working with AI/LLM APIs are considered advantageous. Candidates should have experience with version-control systems such as Git, good problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities. Additional skills that are beneficial include familiarity with third-party API integrations, JSON, API authentication, MVC architecture, Linux/server environments, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications utilizing Core PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot MySQL queries to ensure efficient database interactions.
- Create interactive web functionalities using JavaScript and AJAX for dynamic user experiences.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between systems.
- Engage in backend development tasks, primarily using PHP and, where applicable, Python/Django frameworks.
- Debug and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Understand existing codebases thoroughly and implement new features safely and efficiently.




- Conduct basic testing across supported browsers to ensure consistent application performance.
- Follow established coding standards, version-control practices, and development guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with senior developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
