We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our team in building and scaling the enterprise’s next-generation API and AI infrastructure. In this role, you will maintain our core Azure API Management (APIM) platform while driving the design of a central Enterprise Context Gateway to power our AI-native transition.

A key focus will be enabling Azure cloud integration with Generative AI and Agentic AI framework design , leveraging protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP) to securely connect AI agents, tools, and enterprise data. Operating in an Azure DevOps ecosystem using Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep), you will ensure platform resilience, security, and developer self-service for mission-critical services.

Key Responsibilities (With Explicit Agentic AI Focus )

- Platform & AI Gateway Engineering: Build, maintain, and enhance the Azure API Management (APIM) platform and design the current Enterprise Context Gateway to enable secure, governed Agentic AI integration.
- Generative & Agentic AI Orchestration: Expose Model Context Protocol (MCP) services across the enterprise to enable autonomous AI agents and Generative AI models to safely connect with internal data, tools,



and APIs.
- Automated Infrastructure & CI/CD: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for secure, compliant deployments.
- Platform Security & Reliability: Ensure high availability, security-by-design, performance optimization, and active participation in 24/7 standby rotations for mission-critical systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with architects, developers, and platform teams to build developer self-service tooling and elevate the enterprise integration ecosystem.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: 8–20 years of relevant experience in Azure platform engineering.
- Core Technical Skills: Hands-on Azure infrastructure setup/optimization, IaC (ARM/Bicep), Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, RESTful API integration, and security-by-design principles.
- Preferred Experience: Enabling and implementing Agentic AI solutions using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Operational Requirements: Ability to participate in 24/7 standby/on-call rotation; fluent English communication skills.
