Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to help build, automate and operate our enterprise Azure AI & Data Platform.

The role focuses on translating platform and architectural requirements into secure, scalable and automated cloud solutions. The engineer will work across infrastructure, DevOps, AI/ML and application hosting workloads, supporting both platform initiatives and business project delivery.

This is a senior hands-on position with end-to-end ownership from design through production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Build and maintain reusable platform components, templates and Terraform modules.
- Own delivery of new Azure environments and project onboarding activities.
- Implement and operate networking, identity, RBAC, private connectivity and secrets management.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps and GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and operate workloads on Azure Container Apps,



App Services and container platforms.
- Support Azure AI, Machine Learning and agent-based solutions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and operational automation.
- Drive platform engineering initiatives and self-service capabilities.
- Troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, CI/CD and deployment issues.
- Participate in architecture reviews, platform standards and technical governance.
- Collaborate with data, application and infrastructure teams across multiple projects.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Must-Have Skills

Azure Platform Engineering

- Strong hands-on Azure experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience designing and operating production cloud workloads.
- Good understanding of Azure networking concepts:
- VNets
- Private Endpoints
- Private DNS
- NSGs

Infrastructure as Code

- Strong Terraform experience.
- Building reusable modules and enterprise standards.
- Experience with AzureRM and preferably AzAPI.

DevOps & Automation

- Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
- YAML pipelines.
- CI/CD design and implementation.
- Git-based operating model.

Identity & Security

- Entra ID.
- Managed Identity.
- RBAC.
- Key Vault.
- Security-by-design approach.

Application Hosting Experience with at least some of:

- Azure Container Apps
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure Container Registry

Must understand:
