: AV Resident / Onsite Professional

Role Overview

As an Onsite AV Resident Professional, you will be comprehensively responsible for organizing, troubleshooting, and managing advanced media equipment across the facility. This includes active/curved LED screens, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) solutions, Yealink & Panacast BYOD setups, and fully automated Training rooms, Boardrooms, and AV Experience Centers.

This role requires in-depth technical capabilities to manage automated AV infrastructure, paired with excellent technical communication skills to interact with senior leadership teams during walkthroughs, demonstrations, and high-profile events.

Key Details

· Experience Required: 4 to 8 years as an AV Technician and Audio Engineer

· Education: Diploma in Engineering or a similar technical field

· Core Competencies: AVC solutions, Microsoft MTR, IP Networking, Live Production, Stakeholder Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management & Technical Support

· Setup & Operations: Install, configure, and operate video monitors, sound systems, microphones, lighting, mixing boards, and active LED screens.

· Ground Support: Provide "hands and feet" troubleshooting, ground-level break-fixing, and back-end technical support for meetings and events.

· Upgrades & Maintenance: Lead ground-level execution for new installations, faulty equipment replacements, equipment additions/removals, and software/firmware upgrades.

· Preventive Checks: Perform daily room audits, connectivity checks, and preventative maintenance checklists to ensure the AV system is 100% bug and snag-free.





· Network & Control: Manage, tune, and operate integrated Audio/Video Control (AVC) solutions and IP networking setups.

Event Management & Executive Support

· Event Execution: Plan, test, and run the AV technology for high-quality events connecting remote global participants (e.g., Town Halls, All Hands Meetings, Executive Boardrooms, Global Training, Live Concerts, and Conventions).

· Leadership Walkthroughs: Coordinate end-to-end planning and dry-runs for senior leadership and client walkthroughs.

· Pre-Event Preparation: Capture event requirements directly from the Business team and execute comprehensive dry-runs prior to the scheduled start.

· Business Continuity: Run ground-level business continuity drills and ensure all rooms feature up-to-date user manuals and posters.Stakeholder Coordination

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Program, Admin, and IT teams to swiftly implement functionality changes or address infrastructure bugs.

· User Management: Work directly with end-user business teams to translate event concepts into professional audio, video, and live-streaming production.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

· Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with computer systems, IP networking, MTR setups, and AVC systems.

· Troubleshooting: Exceptional proactive diagnostics and timely resolution of complex equipment malfunctions.

· Soft Skills: Agile personality with strong managing capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional communication suited for executive leadership interaction.
