Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD. The candidate will coordinate with engineering, architecture, project, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, updated, and compliant with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop and modify drawings based on engineering specifications, site measurements, and project requirements.

- Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings based on site changes.

- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design concepts and convert them into accurate CAD drawings.

- Coordinate with architects, civil, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams for drawing requirements.

- Conduct site visits and take measurements wherever required for preparation or modification of drawings.

- Maintain proper records and revisions of all drawings and CAD files.

- Ensure drawings follow required dimensions, scales, layers, symbols, standards, and specifications.

- Review drawings for accuracy and identify discrepancies before submission.

- Prepare drawings for construction, renovation, maintenance, interior, infrastructure, and other engineering projects.





- Incorporate corrections and revisions based on feedback from engineers, consultants, project managers, and site teams.

- Assist in preparation of BOQ-related drawings, layouts, area calculations, and project documentation, wherever required.

- Maintain organized drawing archives and ensure the latest approved drawings are available to concerned departments.

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors regarding drawings and technical requirements.

- Support project teams during execution by providing updated drawings and technical information.

- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of project drawings and technical documents.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of 3D AutoCAD will be an advantage.

- Good understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, electrical, and mechanical drawings.

- Good knowledge of layers, blocks, dimensions, XREF, layouts, plotting, and drawing standards.

- Good understanding of measurements, scales, and technical specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good coordination and communication skills.
