We are looking for a hands-on Auditor to join our audit team remotely. This role is ideal for someone with solid, practical audit experience who can work independently and confidently within CaseWare, taking audit assignments from initial records through to a substantially completed, review-ready file.
Key Responsibilities
- Work confidently and independently in CaseWare
- Prepare and update audit working papers and lead schedules
- Perform substantive audit testing
- Complete audit testing across bank, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, payroll, revenue, and expenses
- Prepare VAT and tax-related audit schedules where required
- Cross-reference and properly document the audit file
- Prepare draft financial statements using CaseWare/CaseView
- Deal with and clear review points
- Identify missing information, inconsistencies,
and audit issues, and raise them clearly with the internal team
Requirements
- Approximately 2–5 years of hands-on audit experience
- Strong, practical, hands-on knowledge of CaseWare — candidates must already be comfortable using the software in an audit environment, as we are not able to provide basic CaseWare training
- Ability to independently manage an audit file from the accounting records and prior-year file through to review-ready stage
- Qualified qualifications are not essential
