- Assist experienced team members with accounting and compliance assignments.
- Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks under supervision.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Enter and classify accounting transactions accurately.
- Assist in maintaining general ledgers and supporting schedules.
- Assist with preparation of BAS, IAS and other compliance work after receiving appropriate training.
- Assist with preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Learn Australian accounting and taxation concepts.
- Learn and work on accounting software such as Xero and MYOB.
- Assist with data checking and identifying discrepancies.
- Follow standard operating procedures, checklists and client-specific instructions.
- Maintain proper documentation and workpapers.
- Raise queries with senior team members when information is missing or unclear.
- Complete allocated tasks within agreed timelines.
- Implement corrections and feedback provided by reviewers.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of debit and credit concepts.
- Understanding of journal entries and ledgers.
- Basic understanding of bank reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of financial statements.
- Basic understanding of GST is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn Xero, MYOB and other accounting software.
Australian accounting knowledge is not mandatory for freshers, but candidates must demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to learn.

Qualifications

- Fresh graduates with good academic performance may apply.
- Candidates with accounting internships or relevant practical exposure will be preferred.
