Job title: Assistant Vice President - Fund Accounting Oversight Specialist Private Assets

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

- Lead the oversight team with accountability for NAV oversight and fund financial reporting oversight.
- Maintain close collaboration and integration with offshore partners, including India based colleagues.
- Deliver BAU oversight across complex technical areas within financial reporting, fund accounting and NAV oversight.
- Act as SME for fund accounting oversight, including Financial Reporting and Costs & Charges.
- Oversee error and risk validation, analyse control failures, direct remediation activity and support Risk and Compliance investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls and oversight.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder queries.
- Build and maintain relationships with TPAs, auditors and key internal partners.
- Shape and maintain the control governance framework.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Skills:

- Strong technical expertise in fund accounting, NAV components, pricing, and financial reporting, with knowledge of accounting standards and regulations across key jurisdictions (UK, Ireland, Luxembourg).
- Deep understanding of fund structures and private market asset classes (e.g., LP/GP, ICAV, RAIF; private debt, real estate, alternative credit) including complex valuation methodologies.
- Robust risk, controls, and governance mindset,



with the ability to challenge constructively, assess complex issues, and make clear, well-informed decisions.
- Proven experience operating within an outsourced/TPA model, with effective oversight, review, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate issues, cut through complexity, and drive timely resolution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence TPAs, auditors, and internal teams across technical and non-technical contexts.
- Ability to work with autonomy, accountability, and sound judgement, contributing to team delivery and broader business outcomes.

Experience:

- 10-15 years of experience in financial services. Min 10 years of experience in Fund accounting oversight or fund financial reporting oversight with at least 8 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Educational Qualification:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA Finance) are a plus.
- Relevant IOC or Investment Management qualification / Certification would be desirable.
