We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support production operations, workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives.

The selected candidate will be based in India initially and will undergo approximately 3 months of training to understand the production processes, systems, KPIs and operational requirements. Following successful completion of the training, the candidate may be deputed to Delco, North Carolina, USA, subject to business and assignment requirements.

The role will involve close interaction with frontline production teams, Process Leads, Machine Operators, Quality and other cross-functional teams to improve operational effectiveness, process discipline and employee capability.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and analyze production KPIs by line, shift and individual performance to identify opportunities for improvement in people and processes.
- Support the Production Manager in identifying staffing, skill and training requirements across shifts and production lines.
- Develop and implement employee development plans for Process Leads and Machine Operators.




- Maintain and update training matrices, training tools and development documentation.
- Conduct and facilitate hands-on training programs to strengthen employee capability and reinforce process adherence.
- Support coaching and performance management initiatives for frontline employees.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities related to internal and customer-driven issues.
- Identify training interventions required as part of corrective and improvement actions and ensure their effective implementation.
- Support production planning and scheduling as required.
- Collaborate with Quality and other cross-functional departments to achieve operational and performance objectives.
- Work under the direction of the Production Manager to maximize production effectiveness and strengthen team capability.
- Maintain an active presence on the production floor and support adherence to safety, quality and operational standards.
