The incumbent should ensure that effective utilization of resources available for effective yard and warehouse operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Being customer centric, yearly meeting all internal / external customers /port terminal & also customs and providing the best service to our customers. Focusing mainly on customer’s satisfaction by understanding their difficulties & by simplifying the procedures
- To arrange timely movement of all import containers within free period
- To arrange effective yard stacking & optimal yard space utilization
- Effective housekeeping of the yard
- Optimal space utilization in export/ import warehouse
- Monitoring daily movement & timely dispatch of reports
- Attend & supervise de- stuffing of LCL containers & de-stuffing, delivery of imports
- Attend carting/ stuffing of export cargo. Ensuring faster turnaround of vehicles & containers
- Optimal utilization of labours & forklift equipment
- Optimal utilization of Nestainer in import LCL
- Co-ordinate with transporter for faster movement of import as well as exports / empty containers from & to CFS
- Attend all customer related issues for smooth running of CFS
- To reply messages related to imports/ export operations to all customers
- Liaise with customs/ Port officials proactively & manage all permissions, matters to the satisfaction of CFS Operations
- Timely / accurate submission of all daily operation reports
- Co-ordinate with customers/ Port/ Lines for various permissions & smooth running of CFS activities
- Assist in all audit activities and providing all sort of inputs / data and make the records available at the time of audit
