About the Role

We are looking for a senior Supplier Quality & Quality Management professional to lead the SQA and QMS function and drive supplier quality excellence across the organization.

This is a leadership role for a quality professional who can partner with R&D;, Sourcing, Manufacturing and SCM and drive measurable improvements in supplier quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the Supplier Quality Strategy, Quality KPIs and Annual Improvement Plan.
- Lead supplier evaluation, qualification, approval and development.
- Drive supplier capability improvement and risk management.
- Lead Supplier Process, Product and System Audits.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements and applicable standards.
- Drive APQP and PPAP for new parts and projects.
- Review and approve PPAP submissions and supplier part approvals.
- Manage supplier process, design and material changes.
- Drive incoming quality improvement and reduction of supplier PPM / line stoppages.
- Lead supplier problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone and structured CAPA.
- Monitor supplier quality, delivery, response time and Cost of Poor Quality.




- Conduct supplier performance reviews and manage escalations for chronic quality issues.
- Lead, mentor and develop the SQA team.
- Drive Poka-Yoke, defect prevention and continuous improvement across the supplier base.
- Ensure effective resolution of supplier-related customer quality issues.

What We Are Looking For

- 15+ years of experience in Automotive / OEM Quality, preferably with strong exposure to Supplier Quality.
- BE / DME Mechanical.
- Strong expertise in SQA, Supplier Development and Supplier Audits.
- Hands-on experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials and components.
- Expertise in IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
- Robust problem-solving skills using 8D, 5 Why and Fishbone.
- Experience in supplier capability improvement, quality risk management and PPM reduction.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with R&D;, Sourcing, Purchase, Manufacturing, SCM and Engineering teams.
- Willingness to undertake high travel as required.
