Job Purpose:

To lead and drive cattle feed sales in the assigned area through distributor/channel management, direct farmer outreach, field team supervision, and achieving volume and revenue targets.

Role & responsibilities

- Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop recent markets, dealers, and sub-dealers in rural areas.
- Conduct farmer meets, field demonstrations, and awareness programs to drive product adoption.
- Channel Management:
- Appoint and manage distributors and dealers.
- Ensure smooth order processing, supply chain, and stock availability.
- Handle credit limits, payments, and distributor performance reviews.
- Team Management:
- Lead, train, and monitor a team of Sales Officers/Field Executives.
- Set targets and ensure daily field activities are aligned with sales goals.




- Monitor performance and provide guidance to improve productivity.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and farmer feedback.
- Share field insights with senior management for strategic decisions.
- Maintain records of sales, customer data, and market coverage.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders: farmers, veterinary doctors, dealers, and cooperatives.
- Resolve product or service issues promptly.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Graduate in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or related field. MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- Experience: 58 years of sales experience in animal nutrition/cattle feed/FMCG/agri-inputs.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Rural market exposure and willingness to travel extensively
- Analytical and team leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint)
