We are seeking an Architectural Designer to lead and oversee the design and development of architectural projects, including commercial buildings, residential homes, and public spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the design process by interpreting client briefs and preparing cutting-edge architectural designs that meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion within established parameters.
- Collaboration: Actively coordinate with engineering and construction teams, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders including clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Documentation: Produce high-quality construction documents using software such as REVIT and AutoCAD. Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance/quality control reviews at key project milestones to maintain high standards of design integrity.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior architects and design staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Client Interaction: Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders,
addressing feedback and making necessary adjustments to meet their needs.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years focused on multi-family and mixed-use projects.
- Licensure: State licensure as an architect is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as REVIT, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Strong understanding of building construction methods, materials, and codes.
- Ability to produce detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications.
