Designation: Architect cum Design Coordinator

Location: Chalakudy, Kerala

Reporting To: Management / Project Manager

1. Role Overview

The Architect cum Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing architectural and interior design requirements from the initial planning stage through detailed drawings and project execution. The role involves coordination between the design team, project/site team, clients, consultants, and management to ensure drawings and design decisions are properly communicated and implemented.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and coordinate architectural planning, layouts, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
- Develop and coordinate interior design drawings, including furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and details.
- Coordinate architectural and interior drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, and other services.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, materials, and site requirements before issuing them for execution.
- Coordinate with the site and project team to resolve drawing-related issues during execution.
- Conduct site visits when required to understand existing conditions and verify measurements.
- Coordinate design changes and revisions based on client, management, and site requirements.
- Ensure that all revised drawings are properly updated, recorded, and communicated to the concerned team.
- Coordinate with 3D visualizers, draftsmen, project coordinators, site supervisors, and other design team members.
- Assist in developing concepts, design presentations, material selections, and design proposals.
- Ensure that architectural and interior drawings are practical and suitable for execution.
- Prepare and maintain proper drawing documentation and project files.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding design requirements, modifications, and approvals.




- Support the project team in resolving design and execution-related issues.
- Ensure that approved designs and drawings are followed at the site.
- Monitor design progress and ensure drawings are delivered according to project schedules.
- Participate in design meetings and provide technical/design inputs whenever required.
- Maintain proper coordination between design, production, estimation, procurement, and execution teams.

1. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Architectural Planning and Interior Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit / SketchUp / 3D software will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of architectural and interior working drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and construction details.
- Robust coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to identify drawing and site-related issues and provide practical solutions.
- Good attention to dimensions, details, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drawing requirements simultaneously.

1. Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in architectural and interior design coordination is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in residential architecture, interiors, and project execution will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
