Primary purpose of the role The Application Executive is responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing analytical applications and product enhancements for analytical instruments. The role focuses on improving product quality, ensuring repeatability and reproducibility, validating new product features, standardizing processes, and developing technical documentation. The incumbent works closely with Research & Development, Quality, Production, and Service teams to ensure reliable product performance and continuous product improvement.

Major responsibilities

Product Quality Improvement and Issue Resolution

- Validate and optimize product components and application methods to improve analytical performance, precision, and ease of use.
- Identify opportunities for product improvements through testing, customer feedback, and internal quality data.
- Investigate application-related issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Perform validation activities to ensure new improvements meet defined quality and performance standards.

Product Repeatability and Reproducibility

- Conduct repeatability and reproducibility studies to ensure consistent analytical performance across products.
- Optimize analytical parameters and application methods to improve measurement accuracy and reliability.
- Validate improvements through structured testing and performance evaluation.
- Analyse quality data and recommend enhancements to improve product consistency.

New Product Development and Product Upgrades

- Support the development, testing, and validation of new products, product enhancements, and application features.
- Evaluate prototypes and recommend improvements based on application performance.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during new product development and product enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure new developments meet functional, quality, and customer requirements before release.

Process Improvement and Standardization

- Develop, validate, and standardize application and calibration processes.
- Establish robust validation procedures for recent products and enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and process effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to established quality standards and operational procedures.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, validation reports, and technical documentation.
- Prepare technical reports, validation summaries, and application documents.
- Ensure documentation is updated, controlled, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain records of testing, validation activities, and process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Research & Development, Quality, Production, Service, and Product Management teams to support product development and issue resolution.
- Provide technical support during product evaluations, troubleshooting, and customer demonstrations.
- Support internal technical training by sharing application knowledge and best practices.

Quality and Compliance

- Ensure all application development, validation, and documentation activities comply with internal quality standards and applicable industry requirements.
- Monitor product performance trends and recommend corrective and preventive improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
