Role Description

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and results-driven Remote AP Biology Teacher to instruct high school students across the US and Canada. This is a remote role focused on delivering rigorous, engaging AP Biology lessons aligned with the College Board curriculum in a live virtual setting.

Responsibilities include designing comprehensive AP-aligned lesson plans, conducting concept walkthroughs and FRQ (Free Response Question) workshops, providing individualized mentorship, tracking academic progress, and fostering an inquiry-driven learning setting. You will play a vital role in preparing students to master core biological concepts and excel on the AP Biology exam.

Required Skills:





- ✅ 2+ Years of Online Teaching Experience (preferably with US high school curricula).
- ✅ Thorough familiarity with the College Board AP Biology curriculum framework, exam pattern, and FRQ grading rubrics.
- ✅ Excellent Communication Skills (Non-negotiable).
- ✅ Availability to match US/Canada time zones (Early mornings India Time).

Qualifications

- Deep subject-matter expertise in Advanced Placement Biology (covering Biochemistry, Cell Energetics, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, and Gene Regulation).
- Demonstrated experience guiding students through AP-style Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Free Response Questions (FRQs), and scientific data/graph analysis.
- Proficiency in digital lesson design, utilizing interactive tools, virtual lab simulations, and targeted practice worksheets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage high school students and simplify complex physiological and molecular mechanisms.
- Proven track record of helping students achieve 4s and 5s on the AP Biology examination.
- Ability to inspire confidence, adapt pacing to diverse student needs, and maintain a supportive, interactive classroom atmosphere.
