Role & responsibilities

- Develop, customize, integrate, and maintain Android BSP for embedded platforms.

- Perform Android platform bring-up on new hardware platforms.

- Work with Android HAL, Kernel, device drivers, and system components.

- Integrate and configure hardware components such as display, camera, audio, sensors, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and other peripherals.

- Modify and maintain Android device configuration, BoardConfig, device trees, and vendor components.

- Build and customize Android images using AOSP and Android build systems.

- Debug and resolve issues related to Android boot, kernel, drivers, HAL, and hardware/software integration.

- Analyze system logs using tools such as ADB, logcat, dmesg, and kernel logs.

- Android porting.

- Support device bring-up, validation, testing, and performance optimization.

- Participate in root-cause analysis and provide technical solutions for product issues.

- Maintain technical documentation related to BSP development,



configurations, and troubleshooting.

Preferred candidate profile

- 12 years of hands-on experience in Android BSP / Android Platform Development.

- Positive understanding of Android OS architecture and AOSP.

- Knowledge of Linux/Android Kernel concepts.

- Basic understanding of HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Android system services.

- Experience with ADB, Fastboot, logcat, dmesg, and other Android debugging tools.

- Good programming knowledge in C/C++

- Familiarity with Linux shell scripting.

- Understanding of Android build systems such as Soong / Make.

- Basic knowledge of Device Tree, BoardConfig, Android build configuration, and vendor components.

- Familiarity with Git and version-control systems.

- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
