We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Android application development and strong expertise in Kotlin. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of modern Android development practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience building scalable, high-performance, and user-friendly mobile applications.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining Android applications while working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and backend developers.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build scalable, reliable, and performance-oriented mobile applications.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following Android and Kotlin best practices.
- Work with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern Android architecture components.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs into Android applications.
- Work closely with backend developers to understand API contracts and integration requirements.
- Perform unit testing, UI testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Identify and resolve application crashes, bugs, memory leaks, and performance issues.




- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Implement secure coding practices and ensure application data is handled securely.
- Work with Git/version control systems and follow established branching and code-review processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, Kotlin features, libraries, and development trends.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android application development.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Android APIs.
- Experience with Jetpack components, including:

- ViewModel
- LiveData / StateFlow / Flow

- Room

- Navigation Component

- WorkManager

- DataStore
- Good understanding of Android Architecture Components and architectural patterns such as MVVM / MVI / Clean Architecture.
- Experience developing UI using Jetpack Compose and/or XML layouts.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Retrofit, and OkHttp.




- Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger.
- Good understanding of SQLite/Room database.
- Understanding of Android application lifecycle, threading, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build/release processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile application security, authentication, encryption, and secure API communication is an advantage.

Education / Graduation

- Bachelor’s degree
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA/MCA or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience
- 3–6 years of professional experience in Android application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin is mandatory.
- Candidates should have experience developing, maintaining, and releasing production-grade Android applications.
