What we need:

Brady Corporation is seeking an Advanced Engineer (Test) to support the testing, validation, and deployment of innovative printing and Auto Identification & Data Capture (AIDC) solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for defining test strategies, designing and executing test plans, and ensuring the quality and reliability of printer products, firmware, drivers, and labeling software. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial, desktop, mobile, RFID, and thermal printing solutions.

What you’ll be doing

•Understand/Review Product requirements, ensure completion of deployment and use case scenarios and testability aspects of the product/solution

•Test Strategy,



Test Design and Test Execution of Printing Solutions/Products in AIDC verticals

•Exposure to full life cycle process of product development, test management

•Coordinate, responsible to represent the team on the technical & delivery aspects on test – to collaboratively work with multi-location teams

What you’ll need to be successful:

•Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical or Mechanical, M. Tech/MCA may also apply

- 5-8 years relevant experience with engineering, installation and commissioning of AIDC related printers and testing - Industrial, Desktop, Mobile, RFID, Thermal), Printer drivers & labeling software & firmware

- Should have been involved in end to end testing/ commissioning/architecting few products/solutions - Exposure to software test methodologies, techniques, approaches
- Knowledge in Network protocols, Wireless, Bluetooth and RFID technology is an added advantage - Test automation experience, Scripting knowledge on python would be required
- Gen AI in Test would be an added advantage
- Command over Windows installation & configuration, diagnosis, troubleshooting
- Understanding of mobile communication technologies like GSM, CDMA, messaging services like Blue-tooth, Wi-Fi - Deployment/hands-on experience with solutions which have hardware interactions
- Practical experience with remote trouble shooting of issues
- Solid customer orientation, Willingness to travel
- Ability to visualize problems at field sites and diagnose remotely
- Creative, a good problem solver and facilitator
- Ability to manage several tasks concurrently
- Strong interpersonal skills, Strong oral and written communication skills

- Ability to assert oneself
