Role Description The Adjunct Faculty – Computer Science role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate computer science courses, deliver lectures, conduct tutorials and lab sessions, and guide students through projects and assignments. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, developing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing academic mentoring and support.

The role also involves contributing to curriculum improvement,



integrating current industry practices and emerging technologies into course content, and participating in departmental meetings and academic events. Collaboration with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards and support student success is an integral part of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong foundational and advanced knowledge in Computer Science, including core concepts and applied areas.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and instructional design to create and update course syllabi and learning materials.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Data Science, with the ability to teach topics such as data analysis, machine learning, and related tools.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and frameworks, and be able to integrate them into relevant courses.
- Candidates should possess Programming skills in modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar) and experience with software development practices.
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level, with the ability to engage diverse learners and use technology-enhanced pedagogy.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
