Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting &

- Operations

- Maintain and reconcile day-to-day accounting entries, general ledger accounts, and vouchers in Tally Prime.

- Perform routine bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), following up on outstanding dues and managing cash flow statements.

- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes and the preparation of Balance Sheets and Income Statements.

GST &

- Tax Compliance

- Prepare, verify, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9).

- Perform regular Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations between internal books and GSTR-2A/2B to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Generate and manage E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills in compliance with statutory thresholds.

- Calculate and process Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) entries and assist with periodic TDS return filings.

Reporting &

- Audit Support

- Prepare financial reports, expense analysis, and variance reports for senior management.

- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during annual audits and statutory assessments.





Qualifications &

- Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Experience: 2–5 years of core accounting experience handling end-to-end tax compliance and bookkeeping.

Technical &

- Professional Competencies

- Accounting Software: Mastery of Tally Prime or (including inventory management, cost centers, and GST module configuration).

- Taxation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of GST laws, e-filing portals, ITC rules, and TDS regulations.

- Spreadsheet Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data matching).

- Core Skills: Strong analytical ability, high attention to detail, and sound ethical judgment in handling confidential financial data.
