ABOUT THE ROLE Doon Jewelers is a retail and wholesale jewelry business, GST-registered, with stock under BIS hallmarking (HUID). This role owns the shop's day-to-day accounts — billing, GST filing, ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and keeping the stock register accurate against what's actually on the shelf.

RESPONSIBILITIES 01 Billing & invoicing Raise B2B and retail sales invoices in Tally, with correct HSN codes, making charges, and HUID/hallmarking details on every bill. 02 GST filing Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, reconcile input tax credit against GSTR-2B, and support the annual GSTR-9 return. 03 Data entry & ledger upkeep Post daily purchase, sales, and karigar (goldsmith) entries so the ledger and stock records stay current and match physical inventory. 04 Bank reconciliation Reconcile bank statements against the cash and bank books every month, and flag mismatches before they compound.



05 Stock inventory Keep the stock register current as items move in and out — purchases, sales, karigar issues and returns — and reconcile book stock against physical counts, item-wise by weight and HUID. Who we're looking for MUST HAVE · B.Com or equivalent in accounting/commerce · 5 years in an accounting role, ideally retail or trading · Working knowledge of Tally for billing and GST returns · Comfortable filing GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B and reading GSTR-2B · Steady with daily data entry — accurate over rapid · Trustworthy with cash, stock records, and high-value inventory NICE TO HAVE · Prior experience in jewelry, gold, or silver trading · Exposure to BIS hallmarking (HUID) compliance · Experience running physical stock counts against book records Tools you'll work in Tally Prime · MS Excel · Stock register · Net banking / bank portal · GST portal
