Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Accountant role based in Kochi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate recording of digital asset transactions aligned with fintech and regulatory requirements.

The Accountant will assist with tax computations, compliance filings, and internal audits,



and collaborate closely with operations and product teams to maintain financial accuracy for GFolio’s digital gold and silver ecosystem. Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial data, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup workplace are essential.

Qualifications

- Solid accounting fundamentals, including proficiency in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow tracking in a technology or fintech-driven environment.
- Knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial services or digital assets.
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and comfort working with data and financial reports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and product teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA/CPA/CMA (completed or in progress) are an advantage.
- Experience in fintech, banking, NBFCs, or digital investment platforms, and familiarity with digital gold/silver products is a plus.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
