About the Role A reputed group of companies is looking for an experienced accountant to independently oversee accounting across multiple group entities. The ideal candidate comes from a CA firm background and is comfortable handling books, statutory compliance, and audit support for several companies at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day accounting for multiple group companies and keep books current
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) and handle reconciliations with GSTR-2B
- Compute and file TDS returns, issue certificates, and track TDS/TCS compliance
- Assist statutory auditors in statutory audit and tax audit — preparation of schedules and audit documentation
- Finalise books of accounts and prepare MIS reports for management
- Handle bank reconciliations, party ledger reconciliations, and vendor/customer follow-ups
- Guide and review the work of junior accountants




- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements

- Prior experience working in a CA firm — mandatory
- Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS — mandatory
- CA Inter / CA dropout / B.Com or M.Com with solid practical exposure
- Sound knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Hands-on proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
- Ability to handle accounts of multiple entities and meet compliance deadlines independently
