Role Description The Account Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing customer accounts and supporting financial and operational processes. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate account records, reconciling balances, and assisting with billing, invoicing, and payment tracking. The role involves handling customer queries related to accounts, coordinating with sales and finance teams, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

The Account

Specialist will prepare regular reports, analyze account data, and support decision-making on customer credit, collections, and account status.



This position also contributes to improving internal processes, maintaining compliance with company policies, and delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review account data, identify discrepancies, and support reporting and decision-making.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to manage billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and basic accounting tasks.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to respond to queries, resolve issues, and build long-term customer relationships.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to oversee customer accounts, monitor balances, and maintain accurate records.
- Relevant experience in accounts, finance, or customer-facing roles within retail, jewellery, or similar industries is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting or ERP software is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work in a rapid-paced, on-site environment in Mumbai are important.
