Job Description

"Instrumentation Design: - Experienceinpreparation/review/approvaloffollowingdesigndeliverables;DesignBasis,Instrumentation&ControlsystemSpecifications;,InstrumentIndexandI/OList,Functionalloopschematics,ShutdownnarrativesandLogicDiagrams,Inst.Datasheets,InstallationdrawingsandHook-ups,Inst.LocationLayouts,CableTraylayouts,Controlroomlayouts,CableandJunctionBoxSchedule,WiringandInterconnectiondrawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Construction/Erection Tender, CAPEX support etc. Develop Control Panel specifications.
Inter-DisciplinaryActivities-P&IDreviewandupdate;,3-DModelreview,IDR/IDC,ParticipationinHAZOP/SILReviews,Cabletraylayouts, instrumentation layout.
HandsonExperienceinthefollowingdesignCalculations;Inst.Sizing-ControlValveSizing(InstruCalc,CONVAL),Flowmetersizing,Safetyvalvesizing,Airandpowerconsumptioncalculations,Intrinsicsafetyvalidationcalculation,ThermowellWakefreq.calculations, UPS Sizing, Transformer sizing, Cable tray sizing, cable sizing.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards.
Should have knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification applicable.




Instrument Selection - All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.
Experienceinpreparation/review/approvaloffollowingprocurementdeliverables;MaterialRequisition,TBE,PurchaseRequisitionandVendor Drawing Review and approvals for Field Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Control System: Experience with Control Systems - DCS, ESD (SIS), PLC, package control systems, Fire & Gas systems (FGS).
Control System Specification, Architecture Design,
Communication Protocols, FF, Profibus, Modbus etc.
Knowledge of FAT / SAT of control systems - DCS, SIS, FGS and Package control systems. - Desirable
Experience with control systems from reputed vendors like Rockwell/ Siemens/ Honeywell / Yokogawa / Invensys / Emerson is desirable, Bachlor of engineering is peferred in instrumentation and control engg."
