Job Title: Floor Staff

MAXON SUPER MARTWe are looking for a responsible, active and customer-friendly Floor Staff member to support the day-to-day operations of MAXON SUPER MART. The candidate should be able to assist customers, maintain product displays, replenish stock, keep the assigned floor/section organized and support the store team in achieving sales targets.

- Key Responsibilities:Assist customers in finding products and provide polite and helpful service.
- Maintain proper product display, shelf arrangement and merchandising in the assigned section.
- Refill shelves and ensure products are available and properly arranged.
- Check product prices, labels, offers and promotional displays and report any discrepancy to the supervisor.
- Monitor stock availability on the sales floor and inform the supervisor about low-stock products.
- Help with receiving, arranging and shifting products as instructed by the supervisor.
- Check products for damage, leakage, expiry or other issues and immediately report them.
- Keep the assigned floor and product shelves clean, organized and presentable.
- Ensure products are arranged according to category, brand, size and proper shelf placement.
- Help customers with product-related queries and guide them to the appropriate section.
- Support promotional offers, displays and special sales activities organized by the store.
- Assist the billing/cash counter team when required and as instructed by management.




- Help maintain proper customer movement and an organized shopping environment.
- Follow store rules regarding attendance, discipline, grooming, uniform and customer service.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager/Supervisor regarding stock requirements, customer issues and daily work.
- Support inventory counting, stock verification and other store activities when required.
- Minimize product damage, breakage, expiry and stock loss through proper handling.
- Perform other store-related duties assigned by the Store Manager or Management.
- Candidate Requirements:Previous experience in a supermarket, departmental store, hypermarket or retail outlet will be preferred.
- Freshers may also be considered based on attitude and suitability for the role.
- Valuable communication and customer-handling skills.
- Active, responsible and willing to work on the retail floor.
- Basic understanding of product arrangement and retail store operations.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Hindi; knowledge of English will be an advantage.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in Grocery/FMCG, Fashion, Home Care, Ladies Wear, Kids Wear or Men’s Wear will be preferred.
