Accountant

Location: Gurgaon, Sector 62
Experience: 5+ years post-qualification (CA), preferably with a B2C startup background
Reports to: CFO

About the Role
We're looking for a Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience in a B2C startup environment to manage our core accounting operations bookkeeping, taxation, monthly closings, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and ensure accurate, timely maintenance of books of accounts
Handle direct and indirect taxation- GST, TDS, income tax filings, and compliance with statutory timelines
Drive the monthly financial closing process and ensure accuracy across all ledgers
Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS/Ind AS standards
Build and maintain general financial reporting- MIS, dashboards, and management reports
Support the preparation of investor-ready financial reports and data; assist leadership during investor and board meetings with clear,



accurate financial information
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
Help set up and improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
5+ years of relevant experience, with prior exposure to a B2C startup strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation (direct + indirect), monthly closing processes, IFRS/Ind AS, and financial reporting
Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional presence- this role will involve interfacing with investors and leadership
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced workplace
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
