Core Roles and Responsibilities

- Production Planning and Scheduling: Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Team Leadership and Management: Assign tasks, monitor performance, train recent staff, and mentor workers to build a high-performing team.
- Quality Control: Enforce quality standards and inspect outputs to ensure products meet precise specifications.
- Safety Enforcement: Maintain strict compliance with health and safety protocols, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Equipment Maintenance: Monitor machinery, coordinate routine inspections, and schedule preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Process Improvement: Analyze production metrics and apply lean or continuous improvement methods to increase workflow efficiency and cut costs.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Communicate with supply chain, inventory, and senior management teams to resolve bottlenecks and report shift results.
