Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Accountant with prior experience in the jewellery industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling jewellery inventory accounts, and ensuring smooth financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

Maintain accurate records of jewellery sales, purchases, and inventory.

Handle gold, diamond, and other jewellery stock-related accounting.

Reconcile physical stock with accounting records.

Manage cash and bank transactions.

Prepare invoices, vouchers, and financial reports.

Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.

Perform bank reconciliation and ledger management.





Coordinate with store and management teams regarding financial transactions.

Ensure proper documentation and accuracy in all accounting activities.

Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Qualification

Prior experience in the jewellery industry is mandatory.

Robust knowledge of jewellery accounting and inventory management.

Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.

Knowledge of gold, diamond, and jewellery billing processes.

Understanding of GST and other applicable compliances.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage confidential financial information.

Experience

Previous experience as an Accountant in a jewellery showroom or jewellery company.

Candidates with knowledge of jewellery stock reconciliation, billing, and accounting will be preferred.
