We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with Product, Frontend, Mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-performance applications. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs Build and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs Design and maintain database schemas and data models Develop event-driven and serverless applications Integrate with third-party APIs and enterprise systems Write clean, maintainable,



and well-tested code Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Requirements 5–8 years of backend development experience Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS, etc.) Strong understanding of database design, security, and performance optimization Experience with Git, CI/CD, and up-to-date software engineering practices Strong problem-solving and communication skills Preferred: Experience with AWS AppSync, Serverless Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or AWS CDK, and building enterprise SaaS platforms
