Position: Head – Admissions Department: Admissions / Student Recruitment Reports To: Provost / Vice Chancellor / Senior Management Location: PPSU University Campus, Kosamba Experience: 10–15 years in University/ Higher Education Admissions Team Size: As per institutional requirements Role Overview: The Head – Admissions will be responsible for leading the University's overall admissions and student recruitment strategy for a student strength of 15,000 students , with a demonstrated ability to achieve 5,000 annual admissions . The role requires solid expertise in higher education admissions, lead generation, conversion, counselling, institutional partnerships, and data-driven admission management. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the University's annual admissions strategy aligned with programme-wise and institutional enrolment targets. Own and drive the 5,000 annual admission target , including lead generation, counselling, conversion, and enrolment. Lead the complete admissions funnel from enquiry → lead → application → counselling → offer → fee payment → enrolment . Develop admission targets by school/college, programme, geography, category, and intake . Lead and mentor the admissions, counselling, tele-calling, outreach and admission operations teams. Monitor daily/weekly/monthly admission performance through MIS, dashboards and conversion analytics . Identify gaps in the admission funnel and implement corrective strategies to improve lead-to-admission and application-to-enrolment conversion . Drive admissions through digital campaigns, school/college outreach, education fairs, seminars, career counselling and institutional partnerships in coordination with Marketing. Build strong relationships with schools, junior colleges,



coaching institutes, corporate organisations, education consultants and other feeder institutions . Develop and monitor geography-wise and programme-wise recruitment plans to expand the University's student base. Ensure effective utilisation and ROI of admission campaigns and lead-generation channels. Work closely with Marketing, Deans, Principals, Finance, Registrar and academic departments to ensure smooth admissions. Ensure a seamless and student-friendly admission and onboarding experience . Establish admission SOPs, counselling standards, follow-up mechanisms and performance KPIs. Ensure compliance with University, regulatory and admission policies. Present regular admission forecasts, target achievement reports and strategic recommendations to Senior Management. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should have: 10–15 years of experience in university/higher education admissions , preferably in a large university with 10,000–15,000 student strength . Proven experience of independently managing large-scale university admissions. Demonstrated track record of achieving 5,000 admissions in a financial/academic year . Strong understanding of the complete higher education admission funnel . Excellent leadership, team management, negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and target-oriented approach. Experience with CRM/ERP, admission dashboards, digital lead management and MIS . Strong network and experience in student recruitment across multiple geographies. Ability to work under aggressive admission targets and manage large teams. Preferred Qualification: Master's degree / MBA in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, Education or a related field. Experience in higher education admissions will be strongly preferred.
