Job Description – ITI Motor MechanicDepartment: Vehicle Testing / Automotive Testing

Position: ITI Motor Mechanic

- Educational QualificationITI in Motor Mechanic / Motor Vehicle / Automobile Trade from a recognized institute.
- Relevant automotive testing experience will be an added advantage.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in vehicle testing and testing-related activities as per departmental requirements.
- Prepare and position vehicles for testing on Chassis Dynamometer.
- Operate and handle basic automotive testing equipment under supervision.
- Carry out vehicle inspection, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance-related activities.
- Assist engineers and technicians during 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicle testing.
- Ensure proper vehicle handling and safety procedures during testing.
- Maintain testing equipment, tools, and work area in proper condition.
- Follow safety procedures and departmental instructions during all testing activities.
- Mandatory RequirementsGood knowledge of Chassis Dynamometer-based vehicle testing is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicles.
- Valid 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler Driving Licences are mandatory.




- Good understanding of basic vehicle systems, components, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work in a vehicle testing setting and as per testing requirements.
- Preferred SkillsHands-on experience in automotive/vehicle testing.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and testing procedures.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Responsible and safety-conscious approach while handling vehicles.
