Job Description

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, skilled demeanor upon arrival at the restaurant or dining venue
- Seat guests promptly and present menus while providing information about current specials and dining options
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature standards
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and dining experiences based on guest preferences
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns or special requests promptly
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings while maintaining the ambiance of the dining space
- Process guest payments accurately and professionally, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar,



and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Comply with all health, safety, and food service regulations and hotel service standards
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and professionalism, escalating complex issues to management when necessary
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during peak service periods

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service or guest-facing hospitality roles
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
