Phox Health is looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to own and drive finance and controllership activities across our US and India businesses. The ideal candidate is someone who can work at both the strategic and transaction level — independently managing core finance activities while partnering with leadership, external advisors, and cross-functional teams. ResponsibilitiesDrive monthly close and financial reporting for US and India entitiesPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key financial metricsManage budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and management reportingReview and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including AP, AR, billing, collections, payroll, vendor payments, and COD settlementsPerform and review account reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliationsManage intercompany accounting and support transfer-pricing requirementsReview journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other month-end accounting activitiesEstablish and maintain approval workflows, financial controls, and accounting processesCoordinate with US CPAs, Indian CAs, auditors, tax advisors, and other external partnersSupport audit, tax, and statutory compliance requirements across US and IndiaReview and approve payroll, payment,



and client-remittance batchesWork closely with transaction-level operational data to identify discrepancies, improve controls, and drive accuracyBuild automated, scalable finance processes and reduce manual workProvide financial insights and analysis to US and India leadership to support business decisionsDrive continuous improvement across finance operations, systems, and reportingRequirementsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent skilled qualification10–15 years of hands-on finance, accounting, and controllership experienceStrong experience managing or working directly with US and India accounting operations. Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, audits, taxation, compliance, and internal controlsHands-on experience with monthly close, reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management. Comfortable working with transaction-level financial and operational dataStrong problem-solving skills and ability to independently drive finance processes from execution through completionExperience working with external CPAs, CAs, auditors, and tax advisorsExperience in a high-growth healthcare or logistics company is preferredAbility to overlap with US working hours when required
