Role Purpose Responsible for ensuring accurate product and inventory mappings, reconciliation of stock and financial data, maintenance of audit evidence, management of exceptions and variances, and supporting finance and audit teams throughout validation and sign-off activities. The role will act as the bridge between business, finance, and data migration teams to ensure all mapping decisions, variances, and adjustments are documented, traceable, and auditable. Product Mapping Validation Validate product-to-product mappings across source and target systems. Maintain mapping documentation and decision logs. Review mapping exceptions and identify invalid or duplicate mappings. Support data migration and conversion activities. Ensure mapping logic is documented and traceable for audit purposes. Reconciliation Variance Analysis Perform stock and financial reconciliations. Investigate variances between source and target datasets. Identify causes of:



o Unmapped products o Delisted stock o Negative stock o Duplicate items o Unit of measure issues o Rounding differences Document findings and recommended resolutions. Audit Controls Management Produce audit documentation for mappings, variances, and adjustments. Maintain audit evidence repository. Record all reconciliation outcomes and approvals. Support internal and external audit reviews. Ensure all mapping decisions have supporting evidence and approval trails. Finance Stakeholder Support Review exception reports with Finance Controllers and SMEs. Present and explain reconciliation results. Provide supporting documentation and evidence packs. Support month-end and cutover validation processes. Ensure audit readiness of all migration and reconciliation activities. Exception Adjustment Management Maintain an Adjustment Tracker. Consolidate exceptions from multiple sitessystems. Track resolution status and approvals. Escalate unresolved variances. Produce summary reports for Finance leadership.
