Functional QA Engineer

1 year contract

100% Remote

Work hours 10 AM to 7 PM IST

We are sourcing for an experienced QA Engineer to join a global consulting firm within their GenAI portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Functional Testing, AI/LLM Testing, Mobile Application Testing, and Test Automation using Playwright and TypeScript. This role will be responsible for validating modern AI-driven applications, ensuring high-quality user experiences across web and mobile platforms, and helping shape testing strategies for emerging AI capabilities. The ideal candidate combines solid traditional QA fundamentals with hands-on experience testing AI-powered features, prompt-based workflows, and mobile applications. This individual should be comfortable working independently, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams,



and contributing ideas during requirement discussions and AI testing strategy sessions. This position is fully remote in India,

working hours roughly 10 AM IST to 7 PM IST.

-7+ years of Quality Assurance experience (strong candidates with 7-8+ years will also be considered).

-Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.

-Proven experience developing automation solutions using: Playwright and TypeScript

-Experience testing AI-powered applications.

-Hands-on experience with: AI Search Testing, Prompt Testing, and LLM/Generative AI validation

-Experience testing Mobile Applications on iOS and Android platforms.

-Solid understanding of: Test Planning, Test Strategy, Test Case Design, Defect Lifecycle Management, and Risk-Based Testing

-Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.

-Strong communication and analytical skills.

-Ability to work independently and drive testing activities with minimal supervision.
