Indio Networks is looking for an experienced VP Engineering to lead our technology and product engineering organization and drive the development of next-generation OpenWiFi, OpenLAN, cloud networking, network management, embedded and AI-enabled networking products.

This is a leadership role for a technology executive who can combine deep technical expertise, product thinking and strong team-building capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute Indio's overall engineering and technology strategy.
- Lead software, cloud, embedded, networking, QA and DevOps engineering teams.
- Own architecture and delivery of scalable cloud-native networking platforms.
- Drive development of OpenWiFi, OpenLAN/OLS, controllers, AAA, NMS, OpenWrt and related products.
- Establish strong engineering practices for architecture, coding, testing, CI/CD, security and product quality.
- Build and mentor a high-performance engineering organization.
- Work closely with Product, Sales and Customers to translate requirements into product roadmaps.
- Drive AI/ML adoption in engineering and networking products.
- Ensure products are scalable, secure and suitable for global markets.
- Manage technology priorities, technical debt,



delivery timelines and engineering budgets.

Ideal Candidate
- 15+ years of experience in technology/product engineering, with significant engineering leadership experience.
- Strong background in networking, Wi-Fi, telecom, cloud, SaaS or embedded systems.
- Experience building and managing large engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking protocols, cloud architecture, APIs, microservices and DevOps.
- Experience with OpenWrt, OpenWiFi, SDN, network management or networking hardware is highly desirable.
- Robust product-development and execution mindset.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience building products for international markets is an advantage.
