Company Description CREDX is a startup and venture capital media platform that focuses on conversations and insights before companies reach mainstream hype. Through the Breakout Podcast, CREDX Live, and written insights, the team explores multiple perspectives on founders, funding, and emerging ideas. The platform emphasizes open dialogue, depth over buzz, and signal over noise for its audience of entrepreneurs and investors.

Led by Founder & Host Darshil Khunt, CREDX aims to create thoughtful, engaging content that helps people understand how impactful companies are built.

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Video Editor role based in Ottawa, ON, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Video

Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for podcast episodes, live sessions, and short-form content, including cutting footage, arranging timelines, and refining narratives to create explicit, compelling stories. Day-to-day tasks include editing audio and video, adding motion graphics and basic visual effects, performing color correction and grading, and preparing content for multiple platforms such as YouTube, social media, and the CREDX website. The role also includes collaborating with the host and production team on creative concepts, maintaining a consistent visual style, organizing media assets,



and ensuring timely delivery of all content.

The Video

Editor is expected to stay current on industry trends and best practices to help elevate the quality and impact of CREDX’s media output.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for interviews, podcasts, and social media content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual tone across episodes.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
- Experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Solid understanding of audio editing, sound design, and basic mixing for spoken-word and conversation-based content.
- Strong organizational skills, including file management, version control, and working within production timelines.
- Ability to collaborate with a small, fast-moving team and communicate ideas clearly in a startup environment.
- Prior experience in media, podcasting, or content creation for startups or venture capital audiences is an asset.
- Relevant education in film, media production, communications, or equivalent practical experience.
