Job Title: DataOps / AI Application Development Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)

Duration: Fulltime

Salary Range: INR 30 LPA to 35 LPA

Job Description:

Role Overview

- Client is looking for a DevOps Engineer who can manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines and perform full-stack development tasks.
- Bridges the gap between operations and engineering automating deployments, maintaining infrastructure, and pitching in on backend/frontend code, internal tools, and application-level fixes as needed.

What You Will Do

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python (Express, FastAPI, Flask, etc.).
- Support frontend development tasks (React/Angular/Vue) when needed for internal dashboards, tooling, or minor app fixes.
- Build internal tools, scripts, and automation to streamline development and deployment workflows.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) supporting application infrastructure.
- Implement IAM policies, secrets management, and basic security best practices.
- Collaborate closely with developers,



QA, and product teams across the SDLC.
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack from infrastructure to application code.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, codebases, and processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, full-stack development, or a hybrid engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python for both scripting/automation and application development.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and Git.
- Working knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) for support-level tasks.
- Understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Familiarity with Linux systems administration and networking.

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with GitOps practices (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Experience building/maintaining REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- You are a trusted cross-stack troubleshooter, equally comfortable in infrastructure, backend, and frontend code during incidents.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hybrid DevOps/full-stack engineer who is equally comfortable defining cloud infrastructure as code and writing production backend or frontend code. They bring hands-on Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes experience, are fluent in Node.js and Python, and can step into React/Angular/Vue for support-level fixes when needed. They troubleshoot confidently across the full stack, participate in on-call rotations, and keep infrastructure, codebases, and processes well documented.
