Role Overview

You’ll be the voice of the user and the architect of Vibecoderz’ product vision. As the first Product Manager, you will define the “what” and “why” across our platform: from the TutorAgent to the Vibe Browser. This is not backlog babysitting—this is inventing a new category, Superficient Learning, for 150M+ developers worldwide.

You will work at the intersection of engineering, design, and AI research, using Linear for execution, Notion for documentation, and GitHub for developer workflows. You will turn ambiguity into clarity and ideas into shipped features.

Key Responsibilities (10+)

1. Define and own the end-to-end product roadmap for TutorAgent, Byte Course Engine, and Developer Graph.

2. Author PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) with technical depth, ensuring alignment across AI, FE, BE, Prompt, and DevOps teams.

3. Manage sprint planning and backlog grooming in Linear with transparent prioritization.

4. Partner with design to craft onboarding, real-time learning workspace, and Vibe Browser flows.

5. Create and maintain Notion workspaces for product specs, decision logs, and cross-team visibility.

6. Collaborate with engineering via GitHub issues, ensuring PRD alignment with code deliverables.

7. Define KPIs (activation, retention, engagement, conversion) and instrument them in Firestore + analytics.

8. Run experiments and A/B tests, translating results into roadmap updates.

9. Work closely with AI engineers to ensure feature feasibility, performance, and latency trade-offs.

10. Represent the user voice through user interviews, feedback loops, and community inputs.

11. Ensure documentation hygiene across all tools—Linear for tasks, GitHub for code, Notion for strategy.

12. Act as a problem solver and decision-maker, resolving conflicts between competing priorities (e.g., model performance vs. UI velocity).

Success Metrics

- 90 Days (Probation):

- Deliver a 6-month roadmap for MVP.





- Define 3–5 KPIs and set up dashboards in Firestore/analytics.

- Ship at least one core user journey (Text → Course → Certification).

- 12 Months:

- Increase learner activation >40%.

- Deliver scalable roadmap for 100K+ MAUs.

- Build product processes for a 20+ person engineering org.

Must-Haves

- 10+ years in product management (SaaS or developer platforms).

- IIT/IIM or equivalent tier background.

- Proven success scaling products from zero → one → scale.

- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, PRD writing, KPI definition.

- Comfortable driving execution across Linear, Notion, and GitHub.

Nice-to-Haves

- AI/EdTech experience.

- Prior experience launching developer-facing products.

- Hands-on with analytics platforms (Mixpanel, Amplitude).

- Experience as a founding PM in a startup.

Assessment

Objective: Validate ability to design roadmap, KPIs, and problem-solving under ambiguity.

Challenge (Candidate PoC):

1. Create a 6-month product roadmap for the Vibecoderz AI Tutor MVP.

2. Define:

- Core User Flows: Text → Course, Voice Tutor, Mini-App execution.

- KPIs: Exact activation, retention, engagement, and conversion targets.

- Prioritization Framework: How to trade off TutorAgent latency vs. richer artifact generation.

- User Journey Map: Onboarding → Tutor → Certification.

- Risk Mitigation: 3 technical + 3 market risks, with fallback plans.

- Document in Notion and structure execution in Linear, simulating how you’d actually run the team.

- Deliver a PRD for “Text → Course Tutor Flow” and include at least 2 wireframes (Figma acceptable).

Deliverables:

- Roadmap (slide deck or doc).

- Notion workspace (export or link).

- Linear mock project setup.

- PRD (doc/pdf).

- Wireframes (Figma link or PDF).
