About The Job:

- We are looking for a highly experienced SAP BTP CAPM + Fiori Developer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model, SAP Fiori/UI5, and integration with SAP S/4HANA and other backend systems.

Essential Job Functions:

- Design and develop end-to-end applications using SAP CAP (Node.js) on SAP BTP.
- Build responsive, enterprise-grade UIs using SAP Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
- Model data using CDS (Core Data Services) — entities, associations, annotations.
- Develop and expose OData V2/V4 services for consumption by Fiori apps and third-party systems.
- Integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, or other SAP/non-SAP systems via APIs, SAP Integration Suite, or destination services.
- Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA, role collections, and scopes.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud / HDI containers for persistence layer design.
- Develop and deploy multi-target applications (MTA) using MTA build tools and Cloud Foundry.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for BTP application deployment (using SAP Continuous Integration & Delivery, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
- Apply Fiori design guidelines and UX principles to ensure consistent, Clientive user experiences.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, debug CAP services, and optimize application scalability.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.




- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Stay current with SAP BTP roadmap, new CAP/Fiori features, and emerging tools.

Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall SAP development experience, with at least 4-5 years focused on SAP BTP, CAPM, and Fiori/UI5.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- CAP Model (Node.js and/or Java).
- CDS (Core Data Services) modeling, annotations, and associations.
- SAPUI5 / SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Object Page, Overview Page).
- OData services (V2/V4) design and consumption.
- SAP HANA Cloud and HDI container-based development.
- Cloud Foundry and Multi-Target Application (MTA) deployment.
- XSUAA, role-based access control, and destination configuration.
- Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud) via RFC, OData, or SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java for backend development.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in an SAP BTP context.
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP services: Workflow, Job Scheduler, Notification, etc.
- Strong understanding of Fiori Launchpad configuration and app deployment (SAP Business Application Studio, WebIDE, or VS Code with CDS tools).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with clients/architects.

Good to Have

- SAP BTP or SAP Fiori certification.




- Experience with SAP Build (Low-code/No-code) tools.
- Exposure to SAP BTP Kyma environment / Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
