Role Overview

The Security Executive oversees the daily safety, security, and emergency preparedness of the entire shopping mall property. This role supervises floor security teams, coordinates with local law enforcement and fire services, and ensures compliance with safety regulations to protect visitors, tenants, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Supervision: Manage, schedule, and train shift guards, patrol teams, and surveillance operators.
- Access & Crowd Control: Monitor public entrances, parking structures, loading docks, and restricted staff zones.
- Incident Management: Direct responses to disturbances, medical emergencies, theft,



or fire alarms.
- SOP Compliance: Review and enforce safety standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the mall.
- Liaison: Coordinate with local police, municipal authorities, and retail tenants regarding security updates and threat readiness

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with extensive industry certifications.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years in malls or retail security, with prior supervisory experience.
- Licensing: Valid security management license or state-mandated permits.
- Skills: Solid crisis management, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.
