co_LAB Design Studio is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design practice specialising in high-end residential interiors and architecture.

Our design approach is rooted in simplicity, functionality, clean lines and timeless, refined aesthetics. We work closely with clients, consultants, and execution teams to take projects from concept to completion.

About the Role

n

We are looking for a Junior Architect / Interior Designer to join our growing design team.

n

The ideal candidate should have a robust interest in residential design, good design sensibility, attention to detail, and the ability to translate concepts into well-resolved drawings and presentations.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in developing concepts, layouts, mood boards and design presentations
n
- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction drawings
n
- Develop furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations and detailed drawings
n
- Coordinate with senior architects, designers, consultants and vendors
n
- Assist with material selections, specifications and BOQs
n
- Coordinate design requirements with the site/execution team
n
- Attend site visits and assist with resolving design and technical issues
n
- Prepare presentations and client-facing design material
n
- Ensure drawings and design documentation are accurate and up to date
n




- Assist in maintaining project timelines and coordinating deliverables
n

Skills Required

n

n
- Strong understanding of architecture and interior design fundamentals
n
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD
n
- Proficiency in Sketch Up / 3D software is preferred
n
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator is an advantage
n
- Good understanding of materials, furniture, finishes and detailing
n
- Strong visualisation and presentation skills
n
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
n
- Good communication and coordination skills
n
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
n
