About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to work directly alongside the CPA Partner.

n

This is a self-sufficient, client-facing role — the successful candidate will own the majority

n

of the audit engagement lifecycle from planning through completion.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Independently execute audit testing and prepare complete, review-ready workpapers
n
- Identify outstanding items, open questions, and documentation gaps throughout the
n

n

engagement

n

n
- Communicate directly with clients to request and follow up on needed documentation
n
- Manage multiple concurrent audit engagements across industries, including
n

n

government, nonprofit, and corporate clients

n

n




- Take a lead role on more complex government and nonprofit engagements
n
- Collaborate closely with the engagement partner and audit staff to keep engagements
n

n

on schedule

n

• Work primarily within Audit File for engagement management

n

Requirements

n

n
- 6+ years of audit experience (public accounting preferred)
n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight
n
- Strong workpaper documentation and audit testing skills
n
- Experience with government and/or nonprofit audits strongly preferred
n
- Corporate audit experience
n
- Comfortable communicating directly with client
